Chief Medical Officer (Part-Time)

Location: Hybrid (Eindhoven + Remote)

A rapidly growing MedTech scale-up at the forefront of musculoskeletal (MSK) innovation is looking for a visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
This company develops breakthrough, imaging solutions used by leading sports organisations and top-tier research institutions worldwide. Their mission: revolutionising how MSK disorders are understood, diagnosed, treated and prevented for millions of patients.

With 1.7 billion people globally affected by musculoskeletal conditions, the impact potential is enormous. By combining portable imaging hardware with intelligent software, this organisation enables real-time visualisation of pain and injury during movement — leading to earlier diagnosis, faster rehabilitation and more personalised care.

To accelerate the next phase of clinical and scientific growth, we are seeking a part-time Chief Medical Officer to join the management team and lead the medical strategy.

The Mission

As Chief Medical Officer, you will be the medical and scientific driving force behind the company’s next phase of growth. You will:

• Join the management team as the strategic medical leader

• Define and articulate a strong medical vision aligned with trends in MSK evaluation and sports medicine

• Lead clinical validation, protocol development and scientific research for current and future imaging technologies

• Collaborate closely with the CTO and R&D to support innovation in dynamic imaging and automated measurements

• Build and mentor a growing medical/scientific team

• Serve as the medical ambassador in key customer conversations, scientific collaborations and conference engagements

• Represent the company in high-level partnerships with global ultrasound OEMs and key strategic accounts

• Oversee clinical planning, study design and all medically relevant components of the Quality Management System (QMS)

This is a high-impact position with both commercial and R&D influence.

Who You Are

We are searching for a medical leader with a scientific mindset and strong affinity for innovation in MSK care. You bring:

• Hands-on experience with MSK, ideally in sports medicine, physiotherapy or rehabilitation

• Medical degree preferred; we also welcome physiotherapists with advanced specialisation or a strong scientific background

• A valuable professional network and the ability to represent the organisation externally

• Experience with clinical research, regulatory processes and scientific publications

• Natural leadership skills and the ability to build and guide a specialist medical team

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, entrepreneurial attitude

• Flexibility to work in a part-time, hybrid setting
